Since Jaryl started playing Ultimate in 2017, he has been actively engaged in the scene.
He held leadership positions in most teams he has been a part of. The various positions he held include Vice Captain in Raffles Ultimate, Line Captain in Combined Schools Programme 2018, Zero Displacement, and the U24 Mixed team in 2023, and Secretary in Crackerjacks Ultimate.
In university, he was the Spirit Captain for NTU in his first year and the captain for subsequent years. In Years 2 and 3, he also helped to coach the NTU B team. Similarly, he doubled as a Captain and Coach for Hall 3 Ultimate.
Representing Singapore, he was part of the SG U24 Mixed team, achieving 1st Runner-Up at the WU24 Championships in 2023, Singapore’s best showing on the world stage to date. He also represented Singapore with Freakshow at AOUGC 2023, where he was the team’s Spirit Captain.
The Ultimate Players Association (Singapore) is the body responsible for the governance of flying disc sports in Singapore. These sports include Ultimate, Beach Ultimate and Disc Golf.
