Shane Egeland is a father of three beautiful children under the age of 10 (9, 9 and 5). Professionally, he is a senior executive at Microsoft, leading data center construction for all of APAC.
He started playing ultimate in 1994 and has been a finalist at US Collegiate Nationals (Go Slugs!) and played in multiple Worlds. Most recently he represented Singapore as a Grand Master at Worlds in Limerick, as well as in the Men’s Professional 50 and over division at Disc Golf Worlds in Flagstaff AZ.
He also serves on the Athlete’s Commission for WFDF.
The Ultimate Players Association (Singapore) is the body responsible for the governance of flying disc sports in Singapore. These sports include Ultimate, Beach Ultimate and Disc Golf.
